THE HAZWOPER SERIES

The “HAZWOPER” Series is the most comprehensive set of training product for OSHA's Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Regulation on the market today. This new series of twenty-three programs is available on videotape, on DVD and as Interactive CD-ROM courses, and provides employees with the information the regulation requires them to receive in their training sessions. By combining various programs in the series, “training packages” can be figured to help meet the following OSHA training requirements:

• Annual Refresher.
• Emergency Response: Awareness.
• Emergency Response: Operations.
• Emergency Response: HAZMAT Technician.
• Supplemental Training.
• General Training.
• Complete 40-Hour Training.

Each program is packaged in a three-ring binder and comes with a comprehensive leader’s guide. Video/DVD programs also include reproducible scheduling & attendance forms, employee quizzes and training certificates.

Like laboratory safety training, the market for HAZWOPER training is much bigger than most people realize. If employees handle or may be exposed to hazardous materials or hazardous waste, they must undergo at least some of this training. Since most facilities use some type of hazardous waste as a result of the activities and processes that they engage in, many of their employees must receive this training. And OSHA is extremely strict when it comes to making sure that it is provided.
